Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains the practices and policies of VentiSys Technology Ltd ("VentiSys") regarding the collection and protection of Personal Data supplied by users or collected by us from users of VentiSys websites, including oudles.com, oudles.net, oudlesvault.com, ouldes.co.uk and oudles.ie and the Oudles and Oudles Vault data security, data encryption and replicating or backup services (the "Service").

VentiSys in line with the data protection act 1988, ammended data protection (Ammendment) act 2003, and the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC defines "Personal Data" as any data from which it is practical to directly determine the identity of an individual. Any capitalised terms not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given in the Service's License and Service Agreement (the "User Agreement"). This Privacy Policy may be updated by VentiSys from time to time. VentiSys will provide notice of materially significant changes to the Privacy Policy by posting notice on its websites.

By registering to use the Service, you agree (1) to comply with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and (2) VentiSys may process (i.e., collect, use, etc.) your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy or the User Agreement. Personal Data may be processed by VentiSys in the country where it was collected as well as other countries where laws regarding processing of Personal Data comply with EU regulation or meet safe harbour requirments.

We do occasionally review, assess current day relevance to modern governance, and if required update this Policy in the best interest of our clients, we urge you to return and review this Policy from time to time.

Once you register with VentiSys and it's service "Oudles" under any of the prior disclosed URL's and sign in to said service, you are not anonymous to VentiSys.

When registering with VentiSys, you provide Personal Data, which may include company name, industry, number of employees, phone number, your title, city, state, country, zip code, a user name, confirmed email address, and a password. When utilising the Service, you send us data and you also are sending file system information, including names of files and directories. VentiSys may also record your IP address when you submit information.

VentiSys also may collect, at your option, certain preference and demographic information from you.

All information collected by VentiSys is used for internal purposes of providing the Service, providing support to users, and to improve services. Aggregating non-identifying information supplied by users allows VentiSys to understand its user base and to improve services.

To protect your account information, please keep your password or passwords and access codes secure.

All Users may opt to remove their Personal Data from our live database by contacting VentiSys and canceling their Oudles user account. Users of the Oudles.com services may also cancel their user account by logging into their account, selecting My Profile, and clicking on Delete Account.

VentiSys does not intentionally gather Personal Data about visitors who are under the age of 18.

Information We Collect

In running and operating this website we may collect and process certain data and information relating to you and your use of this site. This data and information is detailed below:

  1. Details of visits to our website and the pages and resources that are accessed, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data and other communication data that may assist us in understanding how visitors use this website.
  2. Information that visitors provide to us as a result of filling in forms on our website, such as when a visitor registers for information or makes a subscribe.
  3. Information provided to us when our visitors communicate with us electronically for any reason.

We will not sell or market the email addresses or other collected personal information of registered Users to third parties.

We will not (and are technically unable) to view the files that are replicated and backedup on your behalf for the effective delivery of this Service.

We may view your file system information (file extensions, sizes etc. but not your file contents) to manage file structures, provide your user experience, and provide technical support.

You acknowledge and agree that VentiSys may occasionally send you administrative communications regarding your account or the Service via email.

Use of Cookies

VentiSys uses cookie, IP address, and URL information to improve and further develop the Service, and to provide enhanced or geographically differentiated features and service levels to Users, where available. VentiSys uses cookies to save User screen names, session validators, and on Users' browsers and hard drives, and may use them to provide tailored products and services to those Users, as they become available.

IP Addresses also help us diagnose network congestion, problems with our servers and otherwise assist in the administration and delivery of the Service to our Users.

All computers have the ability to decline cookies. You can easily decline or remove cookies from your computer using the settings within the Internet Options section in your computer control panel.

VentiSys automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you request.

Users should be aware that other websites visited before entering the VentiSys websites might place Personal Data within a User's URL during a visit to their website, VentiSys has no control over such websites. Accordingly, some of this information may be logged by VentiSys.

The information we collect is used for our own use in developing our website and also occasionally by advertisers on this site. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide you with information relating to our website, products or our services that you request from us.
  2. To provide you with information on other products that we feel may be of interest to you.
  3. To meet our contractual obligations to you.
  4. To notify you about any changes to our website, including improvements, and service or product changes that may affect our website.

If you are a new customer, we will only contact you or allow third parties to contact you only when you have provided consent and, only by those means you provided consent for.

If you do not want us to use your data for our or third parties use then you wil always have the option to object to such use.

Data that is provided to us is stored on our secure servers. Details relating to any transactions entered into on our site will be encrypted to ensure its safety.

The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of data sent to us electronically and transmission of such data is therefore entirely at your own risk. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password so that you can access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

VentiSys Service Providers

VentiSys does not disclose Personal Data to third parties, except to process credit card information for orders. However, at a future time, VentiSys may need to provide users' Personal Data to other third parties to deliver specific services to the user (such as support services). These third parties will be required to adhere to all EU data protection directives and/or Safe Harbor Privacy Principles or at a minimum VentiSys will require the third party to certify they follow privacy protection equal to VentiSys's. Users will also be provided with a mechanism to opt-out of having their Personal Data viewed by such third parties.

Legal Requirments

VentiSys does not and will not disclose Personal Data, including the encrypted replicated data you back up with the Service, unless disclosure is necessary to comply with an enforceable government request such as a warrant, subpeona's, court order or other law enforcement request.

Change of Ownership

In the event of a change in ownership, or a direct merger or acquisition with another entity, we reserve the right to transfer all of VentiSys User information, including Personal Data, to a separate entity. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you (by posting on our website or an email to the email address you provide when you register) of any change in ownership, merger or acquisition of VentiSys assets by a third party, and you may choose to modify any of your registration information at that time.

VentiSys uses industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Although we make good faith efforts to store the information collected by VentiSys in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, VentiSys cannot guarantee complete and absolute security. Further, while we take reasonable steps to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot absolutely guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party "hackers" from obtaining this information.

You may, at any time, choose to correct or update the information you have submitted to VentiSys by updating your account on our website.

If you cancel your account, your Personal Data and other information may be retained in our archive or backup records.
